While conducting a foot patrol Sergeant Castro-Vasquez observed two males tampering with a moped. After noticing the Sergeant, the two individuals fled the scene. The Sergeant immediately radioed Operations and provided details that allowed the NYPD to locate and recover the stolen moped.
