A fingerprint is a unique biological marker that sets you apart from anyone else on the planet. That is why it is used in so many different situations for identification purposes. CU Public Safety can take your fingerprint and add it to the national database.

Morningside and Manhattanville Campuses

The University provides fingerprinting services. This free service is performed at the Public Safety Operations desk located in Low Library Room 111. Walk-ins are accommodated Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. After hours and on weekends, please call Public Safety in advance at 212-854-2797 to ensure that qualified personnel are available.

Medical Center Campus

Fingerprinting is by appointment only at the Public Safety Operations desk located in the Black Building at 650 West 168th St., Room 109. Please call 212-305-8100.
