PSO Jose Moronta

While on post at The Forum lobby, Officer Jose Moronta observed suspicious activity in front of the building, noticing the occupants of two vehicles double parking in front of a parked car and attempting to lift the parked car with a power jack. After notifying Public Safety Operations, Officer Moronta went outside to check further and once the individuals saw him, they quickly lowered the vehicle, removed the jack and drove away. Officer Moronta's attention coupled with his distinctive movements and quick notification helped prevent a possible car larceny.
