Sergeant Helps Prevent Larceny While Off-Duty

While on his way to work, Sergeant James Repman observed larceny in progress in front of the Manhattanville Operations Center. As the three suspects removed a catalytic converter from a vehicle, Repman acted quickly and photographed the suspects' vehicle, notified the Manhattanville Operations Center and 911. Repman's proactive off-duty response was helpful, providing a detailed description of the suspects, their vehicle, and the direction of their departure from the scene to the responding NYPD officers.
