New Forms for Key Services

In response to community feedback, Public Safety has created a new set of web forms that will enable you to more easily submit requests for some of our key services.

  • Card Access Request: Allows University ID Card holders to request academic building access
  • Security Device Service Request: Allows members of the Columbia community to report the need for service or repair of cameras, ID card readers, automatic doors, and other physical security devices
  • Security Project Request: Enables members of the Columbia community to request installations or modifications of security equipment
  • For authorized personnel:
    • Building Schedule Change Request: Allows authorized personnel to request a change in building hours.
    • Card Access Data Report Request: Allows authorized personnel to request a report of who has accessed a particular card reader.

These forms are now available on our website at https://publicsafety.columbia.edu/content/forms.

We ask that you please also share this information with other colleagues in your school or department, consistent with your operational needs.
