Columbia Removes Swipe Access to Academic Buildings on Morningside Campus

Beginning December 8, CUID swipe access to all academic buildings on Columbia’s Morningside campus has been removed during regular building hours, while the campus remains open only to CUID holders and registered guests. All residential halls, libraries, labs, and other specialized facilities will continue to require CUID access, as will entrances to academic buildings from public streets, including:

  • Northwest Corner, 120th Street
  • Pupin, 120th Street
  • Mudd, 120th Street
  • International Affairs Building, 117th and Amsterdam Avenue
  • International Affairs Building, 118th Street
  • Lerner Hall, 115th Broadway turnstile
