Public Safety Sergeant Receives Gratitude from Columbia Student

While on her way back to campus, Ara’s powerchair battery ran out, and was unable to get to the exit of Morningside Park. Sgt. Michael Castro-Vasquez arrived on the scene after receiving Ara’s call at the Operations Desk, making notifications to get Ara’s powerchair charged and staying with her to make sure she was able to get to her residence.
