Your Feedback Matters: Our Commitment to Campus Safety
Over the past months, Columbia’s Inclusive Public Safety Advisory Committee (IPSAC) conducted listening sessions to learn firsthand about your priorities and concerns. I am writing to address the questions raised most frequently and to update you on our ongoing work to keep our campuses safe.
Building Access Update as of November 22
Buildings at the Morningside campus are operating at normal hours. Note, the International Affairs Building (IAB) will continue to lock at 11:00 p.m. on weeknights after Lehman Library closes and will reopen in the morning at its normally scheduled time.
Building Access Restrictions for the Evening/Overnight of November 21
Beginning 8:30 PM tonight until 7:00 AM tomorrow morning, all buildings on the Morningside campus between 114th Street and 120th Street and Broadway and Amsterdam will be closed and inaccessible during these times (including to CUID holders with building access).
